Been thinking about your question about how my kids respond when we give them gifts..... Would it sound terrible to say I wish they were more appreciative? It seems like at times, they EXPECT gifts from us. Sometimes, when we've given gifts, they seem to enjoy the gifts for a time. It has also challenged me to think about how I respond when God gives me gifts. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised when my children respond with less than sincere gratitude; I am not always a good role model in how I receive gifts from my Heavenly Father.....
