I could never.... send my girls to boarding school on the other side of the world. (I know someone who did just that with their 11 year old son - to India.) I can't really answer the "Why not?", but I believe it's the same reason you would never either.
This is an "I could never" that I wouldn't change. Some "nevers" should stay nevers.
